I have been a fan of this style of watch for a while and have owned a few of a similar style to this over the years.  I started collecting around 8 years ago and always ended up with a 42 – 44mm case size. With the current trend for smaller watches I had been on the lookout for a watch to replace a 44mm Retrograde Chrono.

Step forward Jody of ‘Just One More Watch’ fame. I’ve watched many of his honest reviews and was interested to see what he had to say about the Baltany Chrono.  Jody is obviously very impressed and despite my initial reservations about a 39mm watch, his views were very persuasive and I have to say I too am very impressed. Great Size, great dial, brilliant sapphire crystal and an extremely accurate movement. The Baltany crew were quick to dispatch and upon arrival I couldn’t wait to get it on wrist. The supplied leather strap is of good quality but the colour wasn’t quite to my taste. I did my usual thing and browsed through my extensive collection of 20mm straps and now I can’t take it off.  Love it!
